On October 20, 2026, Ambassador Yu Dunhai paid an official visit to Nasarawa State, during which he met with the Governor of Nasarawa State, H.E. Abdullahi A. Sule.

Ambassador Yu stated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Bola Tinubu, the China-Nigeria comprehensive strategic partnership has entered a fast track. He noted that Nasarawa State is ready to strengthen practical cooperation with China across all fields, provide a secure, stable and friendly business environment for Chinese enterprises, and deliver greater benefits to the people.
